Developing TEK

Our guerrilla gardening practices pivot on the maintenance and development of Transformative Ecological Knowledge (TEK).

We only permit ourselves to cultivate non-indigenous plants in our guerrilla gardens to the degree that these plants serve to complement and enrich an ecology that pivots on the health and well-being of indigenous lifeforms. Going further, and in much the same fashion, we only permit ourselves to employ non-indigenous techniques and technologies in our guerrilla gardening practices to the degree that these techniques and technologies serve to complement and enrich a sociality that pivots on the creativity and ingenuity of indigenous lifeways.
